*Inception*

I wish you just walked

Midway to my little world of dreams..

Thats how it happens

You know,the inception!!

And i will look at your eyes

Those beautiful two filled with surprise

As to how i create my world

With a gentle wave of hands..

I will show you my dreamy lanes

All adorned with red gulmohars

we will walk hand in hand

Under the light summer showers..

Or we shall sprout wings pretty

Dance around like butterflies

Over the meadows green.. lightly float

And in coloured bubbles travel heights!

Or simply watch the setting sun

And read a cloud's poem on the golden sky

Maybe you wil hum an old gazal

And sing love shall never die..

We will laugh at our stupid jokes

Have some silly fights as well..

Though my 'subconscious is armed'

You wont be hurt,arent u special !!

Down the streams as moonlight falls

We shall land in the sky amidst a million stars

Or  light a billion lamps so bright

And just stroll down the ancient streets..

I will ask you not to worry

There isnt any need to hurry

Down this world of dreams

Time seems to have a slower pace

I promise not to lock you up in memories

I dont like to wake up either

Far down this world of beauty

We shall grow old together..

An evening glow,I will smile

As you ask me soft

"What if i can make reality

Much beautiful than your dreams?"

Alas! A noise so loud,a song or a jerk

Whats it that made me realise

You are just someone

From my half remembered dreams?!!

A Strange encounter

One day i met silence
Standing beside the window sill of life
A look so forlorn in her eyes
Deep in thought she stood still
i went so near,timidly asked..
"oh,silence you seem to know
Every language the world has in store
Yet,tell me..which one do you speak?"

i saw a smile so faint and sweet
Adorn her weary lovely face
Images flashed across
The many mirrors of mind
Roses red sprang up from nowhere
Skies turned gold,trees all bloomed
Dancing clouds,the song of rain
A smile so sweet,a touch so soft
A face so dear and beautiful dreams

Then Softly did i enquire so
Oh! Is that the language of love?

This time two big tears,rounded fell
and stealthily made their way
Down her face so serene and sweet

And Left me wondering
Is love and sadness just the same?!

Thinking of you..

When dusk so beautifully paints the sky
And hangs some stars so high
The tired sun hides in the sea
And your memories rush to me...

When the wind whispers near..
In my eyes wonder why a sparkling tear
For in the moonlit night
Ur memories shine so bright

When the winter sheds it's snow
And Silently the days may go..
how i hope but in vain
To take your soft hands in mine...

ETERNAL FRIENDSHIP

The sun rose among the hills
Gold and red splashes across the sky
I wonder how world turns so pretty
And then i see you smile..

Oh my friend,you held my hands
And together we had walked
These lanes of love that stretches far
Away from the shores of solitude..

We had walked under the trees in spring
who had spread out their leaves so green
Flowers of joy and fragrant air
Oh !How we shared those happy times..

We had walked at times under the summer sun
Laughed at our problems,had much fun
The moonlit nights and the gentle rain
Deep down still those memories shine..

We had walked under the autumn trees
Over the rustling dry leaves as on a bed
Oh,how you played the melody of friendship
Soothing my soul,enchanting my days..

My friend..my dear dear friend
Now as we walk on this snow so cold and white
The winters of life has set in,still i wonder why
My hands are entangled in yours
As you smile and say
Is not Friendship an ETERNITY...?

I LOVE YOU

I remember the day,still my dear
When you gently asked
Why i loved you so
All these long long years..

I looked at you and smiled
Then wondered how it can be told
Though there are a million reasons
To hold you close to my heart

Yet the answer to this cant be found
For love is true when it's without reasons
Spoken by the eyes,heard by the heart
Joined by prayers when far apart

Carved is your name
In the silent corner of my soul
Embedded in my heart
Forever the smile you hold

Adorned are my dreams
With the sunrays that fall
down the lanes of life
where we together walk..

It was long ago,years have flown by since
Gifting us special days to cherish..
With children and Grandchildren
we laugh at our memories..

But i still remember that day
When the world stood most pretty
The golden clouds were shy
As the timid wind rustled a melody

And you stood there,I remember still
Those tears that fell on my shoulders
As i hugged you and softly whispered
"I love you and That's all I know"

A GIFT

Across the horizon the litl boat of love ..
we set sail moving slow..
Tides of time rise and fall
Parting ways before we go..
A gift for u pretty red..
Abrus seeds of memories bled..
A litl box wrapped with love
Sealed with prayers and a ribbon above..
In memories of our childhd days
Before we go our own ways..
And ur smiles my prayers guard from pain
Till the day wen we shal meet again...

THE CHANGE

                                                                     
Once i asked someone wise
well,tell me what's wrong with world today..
His eyes gleamed,then softly spoke
World becomes smaller with each passing day...

Only on lips smiles reside..
Truth was buried quite long ago..
Kindness was sold for silver bucks
And none could make out friend from foe..

Destroying her chaste,the nature you robbed
Even her tears, rivers were dry..
Orphaned wild,silent birds
Lost forever their tree and sky

The sight of blood nor a child's cry                  
Can move your heart so cold..
You laugh often but are u really glad
Remember long back your joy was sold..

You cling onto things-this is mine
You never liked to share
Letters were dead friends long forgotten
You rush to move on, but to where?

To the world your eyes were shut
You built fences strong and tall
Huddled up in your little world of yours..
Behind dark curtains you hid from all

You fight with your brothers,yourselves
your neighbours even your blood you hate..
You are proud of battles won
what a pity!! you think you are great??

I hung my head in shame
from the depth of heart came fumbled words
"I want a change tell me how
To revert the world to a better place?"
                                                                   
With the calmness of ocean said the wise man
"It's time the the doors of your heart shall open
Shut your eyes to yourself ,see the world
Let your words be true and softspoken..

And bring back her,'The Eternal Love'
Let her fill every human mind
She can be the change you want to see
Rising as a phoenix from ashes you left behind!!!"
