THE PIANO

THIS IS ABOUT A PIANO'S THOUGHTS.....

I lie abandoned in this room... so dark...
In a corner  cold and lone..
Wanted by none but for the eight legged one
To lay the silvery threads just for fun..

The dusty windows and the dirty curtains
Hide from me the dusks and dawns..
The flowers and the green and the lovely rain..
And me here forlorn and insane...

I'm speechless..my words are lost
For tell me without love, will music play?
We live when there are people to care..
For world becomes lovely when there is someone to share..

Black and white ..the keys of my life
Still hide those songs but none to play on..
Where have u gone my little girl
leaving me alone in this world?

For i tell you she used to touch..
My little keys and made me sing
With my heart  , the music of life
Immersing all ,the world within..

With soft lace..she used to wipe away dust
and make me shimmering with so much lust
And through the windows she let in
The wind to play and the sun rays to stay...

Now  only her cute picture hangs  on this wall..
And why her mother cries seeing her smiling face?
i wonder where has she hidden from us
its such a long time.. where has she gone?

Days fly and i wait here..for those footsteps soft
or the humming of that little notes..
That gentle touch to wake me up
From this sad slumber of loneliness..

I wish a star would just fly in
Breaking those dusty windows to this room
And my little girl would run to me
And everywhere fills the music of love.....

Under the starry nights i think of you....
In the autumn evenings i never feel lonely too...
bc'oz recalling the moments we did share
I feel your presence everywhere...


In the fading dusk i see ur grace
The blue serene sky portraits your face..
I hear thy voice in a monsoon shower
And your smile in every rose flower


I know we are miles apart..
but still you are always close to my heart
There your memories lie lulled by summer rain
somewhere someday will we meet again?!


 The sweet memories of times together spent
Make me wonder how fast years went..
from little frocks and dolls we have travelled far...
But still  we remain what we are..


The hands of time..miles and places
Can separate only our faces...
But  harder and harder even if they try
They cant separate our hearts till we diE..


For ours is a friendship full of love
Joined once but forever by the almighty above..
